If you change nothing, nothing will change.
Change is hard.
You know why change is hard? Because the results of change most times aren’t instant. And you have to put in the work, day in and day out, not knowing right away if you’ll see a return. You have to sacrifice, put in the time, be patient, spend time alone, deal with doubt, and face your fears.
When you don’t experience the reassurance of seeing the results right away and it feels like it’s just too hard, you’re tempted to go back to what you know… even if it hurts. What you know is familiar. And familiar is comforting. While change takes you out of your comfort zone.
This week I encourage you to have FAITH. Have faith in your worth. Have faith in your value. Have faith in the gift that God has given you. Have faith that each new step you take in a new direction is ordered. Have faith that all your hard work and sacrifice will not be in vain. It will pay off!
Keep moving forward. Because yes, change is hard. But, NOT changing is harder.
